The best view from our old house was looking south from the deck outside the kitchen. The skyline is unbroken from the summit of Mt Habrich (1800m) westwards to the Stawamus Chief (700m) then down almost to Howe Sound (sea level). The more distant Sky Pilot (2030m) also peeks out over Habrich's west ridge.
The view is constantly changing, because of varying snow level, cloud cover and, of course, the position of the sun; the high summits glow both at dawn and at sunset. I thought it would be interesting to record this, so take photos regularly from a constant spot on the deck with the same equipment - Lumix 20mm lens on micro 4/3rds body. Then in software I try to crop (2:5 ratio) in a reasonably consistent way.
